The Robin comes from Pineau d’Aunis vines, aged between 25 and 50 years in the Coteaux du Loir appellation. In order to favour the richness of the wine, even in difficult years, yields do not exceed 25hl/ha. The vines are located on soils with stronger clays than for the whites, and are cultivated biodynamically. Harvested by hand. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in open vats. Systematic blending of press wine and free-run wine. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels, and the wine is aged for one to eighteen months.
