This is a blend from 2016 and 2017. From its luminous, slightly amber golden-yellow hue, its aroma of apple and honey combined, the Grand Cru Bruocsella draws its main powers of seduction. Its taste qualities are due to its raw character, its sweet Persian acidity imperceptible. Its long shelf life gives its bouquet fine nuances of toast which some say is similar to the Burgundy white grape variety “Chardonnay”. It enhances all steamed dishes with its subtleties, discreetly underlines the taste of fish and shellfish, and supports the most fragrant charcuterie with its robustness. It is fabulous as a counterpoint to sauerkraut. This beer is unique in the world. Its fermentation is spontaneous, without the addition of yeast and results from the action of micro-organisms. After being aged for three years in oak barrels, its vinousness, finesse and aromas make us forget that the Grand Cru Bruocsella Cantillon is part of the world of beer.
